Wow! What a great experience I had with Nancy at Hammer and Heat. The silversmithing studio is a short walk from the downtown. The studio was amazing- from the workstations down to the esthetics of the studio and home, it had everything you could need to design and create a beautiful piece of jewelry. The amount of stones she's makes available is impressive and she does not stifle your creativity, if you can imagine it, she will help you create it. Nancy keeps the classes small and intimate. She is a wonderful person and instructor. Extra points for getting to meet the cutest pup in all of Bisbee. I can't recommend it enough. My only regret is not staying at her Casita for my trip! Would absolutely recommend a trip to take this class.

Everyone should come and take Nancy’s class! My friend and I had an amazing time, learned a lot and have beautiful rings to show for it. We were both able to create a ring we designed from scratch based on our own styles which was great. It wasn’t a “one-size-fits-all” experience. Her studio was adorable too! Highly recommend and Bisbee was the perfect place for a girl’s weekend, so worth the road trip if you are out of town.

This was an amazing experience. Nancy is deliberate and helpful. She provides clear and explicit instructions. She helps students to customize a beautiful piece. Mine will be a treasure for a lifetime. Highly recommend! I'm hoping to take her class again, maybe next time in Montana!
